I hate my smile.  and my hair,  i wish i was either nautrally pretty or i had the money to get my hair professionally colored and to get braces or invisa-lign. i hate smiling. i just feel so gross. and i feel like when i actually feel sorta pretty, that i've tried wayyyy too hard to look that way.

I'm so relieved!  My roommate and I are getting along really well.  She's from a town where the population is 400, haha!  I think we will have a blast. I'm so excited.

I'm addicted to scrapbooking.  I've never really been a crafty person, but this is fun... and expensive. dammit.  I need a friend to get together with and do scrapbooking with while watching Disney movies and getting drunk ... oh, and with lots and lots of ice cream.  and hot fudge.

So not much has been going on besides my wonderful kittens.

Oh, and I went to orientation at KSU today.  I left at 5am. Shitty.  I got there at 7, instead of 8 too. Dammit.  But it was a really pretty drive because I went over the Kansas River and it was foggy and the sun was rising and it was beautifullll.

So I have 16 credit hours.  Yeah, it's a heavy load cause they reccommend like 12-14 for your freshmen year and no more.  I'm taking Principles of Biology, Chem I, Chem I Lab, Orchestra, Expository Writing, Principles of Animal Science, and General Psych.  PLUS I think I'm going to join the Women's Rowing team!! I met the team and they are so nice. but damn they are big haha like tall wise.  They told me I'm too short and don't weight enough to row, but that I can be like the one at the end that tells them to row faster and gets to work the electronic stuff to tell how fast the boat is going.  You have to be like 5'8" and 135 lbs at least, and I'm like 5'5" and 105. haha oh wells. I just get to sit there and enjoy the rideeee.

That's pretty much it. Besides I got a haircut. ummm.... yep. LOVE K-STATE.

She was majoring in pre-vet at K-state, just like me. :o( Who knows, we could have been roommates, or friends, or classmates. I didn't even really know her but I can't stop obsessing over it, which is weird. Because usually I'll see something like that on the news and be like Ugh that's too bad and forget it (I know it sounds horrible...) but fjdkalfjadsl. I actually prayed for her when she went missing. I never pray.  I didn't even think I believed in praying. But I did. And I obviously shouldn't believing in praying, because look at the outcome. 

When I went to K-state and talked to people they saw my nametag and went "Oh... you're from Kelsey Smith's town?  I'm so sorry..." and these were people from like Nebraska and Texas.

I got a new job as a "Client Service Specialist" at the Johnson County Animal Clinic. Basically I'm a secretary but I help out the vets too. I get paid $12/hr sweeeeet.

I'm a foster parent of four (6-8 wk old) kittens. :)

He seems to be everyone's favorite. We haven't named him yet.

The band I play keyboards for, Guadalajara High, with band members Hank Kapka, Steven Lowry, and Garrett Griffen, got second place at Battle of the Bands tonight and got $100 to Guitar Center... schweeet. (Even though I ended up only playing in one song tonight, who cares! I'm happy for them/us.)

Uh, I got a $500/semester scholarship for the KSU Orchestra... so that's $4,000 for the four years I am there. Again, schweet.

I got a 1 on my solo yesterday evening at the recital... (1 being the best, 5 the worst. I've only known someone to get a 3.)
My quartet got a 2. (Still pretty good.)

Things are amazing right now, I must say. Lovely friends.

especially people who pretend to be best friends with someone and then CONSTANTLY talks behind their backs non stop to me. i'mlike.. wtf.. its not my problem.. and you're always with her, so why can't you tell it to HER. 

i am so sick of hearing all this gossip about this girl in one of my classes.. someone should tell her to get new friends because the friends she has now obviously cant stand her and that sucks.
